Eternal Starling. Emblem of Eternity Series . by Angela Corbett.

Noi de obicei nu punem articole în engleză, dar cum scriitoarea, Angela, a spus că doreşte să posteze pe Facebook-ul ei despre interviul nostru, am făcut o excepţie.

Firstly, I want to appologise for my mistakes. English is not my native language.
Secondly, I want to affirm that this book I'm going to present has become one of my favourites even if it was not released yet! I was enchanted by the beautiful cover and the interesting book summary !

Eternal Starling. Emblem of Eternity Series . Book 1.

Pendrell Publishing
Release Date: December 6, 2011
Sinopsis:

Evie Starling doesn't know it yet, but for the past two hundred and fifty years her soul has been tracked through time by Alex Night and Emil Stone. Both men claim to love her, but one might want her dead.
Summary:

How long has your soul mate been searching for you?

“Love is the emblem of eternity. It confounds all notion of time, effaces all memory of a beginning, all fear of an end.” - Madame de Staël

A love so strong, even eternity can’t separate them.

Evie Starling has lived a relatively uneventful life hanging out with friends, gossiping about boys, and driving her 1966 Mustang. All of that changes when she moves to Gunnison, Colorado, to start college and meets two mysterious men.
For centuries, Alex Night and Emil Stone have yearned for Evie—but they each have their own reasons for wanting to be with her. When both men claim to be her soul mate and tell her about an unbelievable past, Evie learns that she’s not the person she thought she was. Soon, Evie finds herself in the middle of an age-old battle between the Amaranthine Society—the soul protectors, and the Daevos Resistance—the soul destroyers. With a past she doesn’t understand, and
a future rife with danger, Evie has to decide who she can trust. But Alex and Emil aren’t the only ones who want Evie, and her soul is about to become the rope in an eternal tug-of-war.

The summary, the cover and the information about Angela were taken from HERE.

Angela was so sweet, and answered us a few crazy and strange questions, and offering some amazing answers.  We usually don't have articles in English, but we made an exeption this time, so that Angela and the fans of the book that don’t know Rumanian could understand the interview.

1. If you could be born into history as any famous person who would it be and why?
When I was young, I used to watch a lot of old movies with my mom. I was really affected by the story of "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" and I admired her strength. I would be Margaret "Molly" Brown.

2. You can re-live any point of time in your life. The time-span can only be a half-hour, though. What half-hour of your past would you like to experience again?
I would love to re-live the exact moment I met my husband for the first time. We have a disagreement over what happened, and I'd like to see which one of us is right. :)

3. Do you have a secret talent beside writing and what is it?
I play the piano and the flute.

4. You discover a beautiful island upon which you may build your own society. You make the rules. What is the first rule you put into place?
Respect everyone. I think so many problems could be solved just by respecting other people, even if you don't agree with them.

5. Someone appears out of nowhere with a time-traveling phone booth. You can go anytime in the PAST. What time are you traveling to and what are you going to do when you get there?
I would travel back in time to when Stonehenge was built. I want to know who built it, why, and how they moved those massive stones! It boggles my mind. They must have been wizards.

6. Your house is on fire! You have just enough time to run in there and grab ONE inanimate object. Don't worry, your loved ones and pets have already made it out safely. So what's the one thing you're going to save from that blazing inferno?
My laptop! It has everything from photos to manuscripts on it!

7. If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be?
There are so many characters I would want to be! Probably Yelena from Maria V. Snyder's Study Series. Yelena is smart, independent, and she's got a super hot boyfriend. :)

8. If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?
The Girl With A Lot of Fictional Crushes.

9. If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?
That I could accomplish things just by thinking about them. My house could be clean with a single thought!

10. You're going on a desert island and you can take just one book with you. Which book would you choose? (except from yours)
I go through book obsessions, so this answer changes a lot. Right now, I would take Iron Kissed, by Patricia Briggs.

11. Death appears. As it turns out, Death is actually a pretty cool entity, and happens to be in a fantastic mood. Death offers to return the friend/family-member/person/etc. of your choice to the living world. Who will you bring back?
Martin Luther King, Jr. He was a compassionate voice for reason and change, and a person I really admire.

I would like to thank you with all my heart, Angela, for writing this book! I’m sure it will have success and plenty of fans. I sincerely hope that “Eternal Starling” will be published in our country and have the chance to read it ! Thank you for your answers, they were great,  for being so nice with me, and for that bookmarks that you promised to send me for blog giveaways. Best wishes !
